Romina Rosado
Global Head of Marketing, The NewsMarket
 
Romina Rosado is Global Head of Marketing for The NewsMarket, Inc. She divides her time between the company’s New York headquarters and the London office.   
The NewsMarket (www.thenewsmarket.com) is the leading online video marketing and delivery platform for global multinationals, government organizations and non-profits. The company’s platform enables corporate communications and marketing professionals to market and deliver their video to more than 13,000 media outlets in 193 countries, consumers, investors, blogs etc.
 
Romina spent her childhood in Germany and has worked in the marketing and public relations industries in Europe, the Middle East and the U.S. for the past 10 years. Her particular area of expertise is global issue management and she has worked with General Motors, the World Bank, Yahoo!, Motorola, the U.S. Department of State, UNICEF and Google, amongst others.
 
In 2006, Romina headed up The NewsMarket’s award-winning campaign for George Clooney to increase awareness about the conflict in Darfur, Sudan.
 
Prior to that she worked with Publicis and the European Central Bank on the largest public information campaign to date, the introduction of the EURO, and was a finalist at the prestigious "The New York Festivals”.
 
At The NewsMarket, Romina heads up the company’s global marketing efforts and product development.
 
Romina holds a bachelor's degree in political science and an M.A. in communications from Universitas Nebrissenssis (Madrid, Spain). She speaks four languages and is learning Arabic and Italian.
 
Romina was selected as one of “40 under 40” by PR Week US in December ‘07.
