Anders Aspling has a background as researcher and lecturer at the Stockholm School of Economics, where he got his PhD in 1986. His focus in research and publications is organisation theory, human resource management and management development.
1988 till 1993 Anders was senior vice-president, responsible for
organisational and human resource development, and member of the Executive Board of a large
international corporation in Sweden.
From 1993 to 2001 Anders held the position of President of the
Swedish Institute of Management - IFL. Thereafter he served as Senior Associate at MiL Institute,
Sweden, and combined that position with duties as board member and expert for different types of
organisations and commissions. Until recently he was Dean of Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School
in Belgium.
