AIESEC, the world's largest student organization, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact on society.

In addition to providing over 5,000 leadership positions and delivering over 350 conferences, AIESEC also runs an exchange program that enables over 3,500 students and recent graduates the opportunity to live and work in another country.

Young leader’s workshop

 



Aiesec in Afghanistan held a two days workshop on 7 th and 8 th May 2007 in Kabul, Afghanistan which was sponsored by NATO. In this conference aiesec in Afghanistan invited most talented students from all universities of Afghanistan which were all young leaders. Moreover, in this event there were governmental officials from Ministry of Information and Youth Affairs, NATO and ISAF representatives and Afghan aid. The main issue of this event was to discuss about young leaders and possible expansion of aiesec in Afghanistan on other universities in order to achieve aiesec in Afghanistan 2010 vision which is “by 2010 aiesec in Afghanistan is sustainable self-driven and the first choice for activating leadership exchange among students and partners”.

          Delegates from universities of Heart, Kunduz and Kandahar showed strong interest learning about aiesec and its expansion of Local Committees (LC) to those provinces of Afghanistan. In this event, all universities delegates, governmental organizations and NGOs figured out the best possible way of supporting aiesec in Afghanistan. Media Channels promised to give aiesec full media support and to make special programs regarding aiesec core activities
