AIESEC, currently present in 107 countries, was established in 1948 and the
Bangladesh chapter was formed in 1997 by some students of the North South University. Since then
on, AIESEC in Bangladesh has expanded into 3 more universities and currently operates in four
of the top local universities of Bangladesh:
- North South University (1999)
- BRAC University (2003)
- Independent University Bangladesh (2003)
- American International University Bangladesh (2005)
