AIESEC
CAMEROON: THE NEW LEADING BODY FOR 08-09
AIESEC Cameroon organized in the National office here in Bessengue, Douala,
the 12th January 2008 the traditionnal Cameroon National Congress (CANATCO). With the purpose
of revewing the state of the organization and mainly renewing the leadership body of
the organization meaning electing the new national bureau for the upcoming term, CANATCO is a
strategic and crucial meeting for the organization.
Therefore concerning the last CANATCO, everybody agree on the fact
that it was really constructive, with all the relevant amendments the plenary made on the
compendium as well as the wise choice that has been done in electing the new National Bureau.
Concretely, the National Bureau is comprised of:

CAMEROON: UBS AWARD WINNER,ONCE AGAIN!!!
ONE
and then TWO consecutively for AIESEC in Cameroon to be awarded for the UBS Regional Achievement
and Excellence award!
IThis was at the recent international congress held in Turkey from the 21st to the 30th of August
2007!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
At
the global level AIESEC International recognizes Member Committees in accordance with current
organisational goals to highlight their great achievements thus to serve as an example to each and
every individual and team within the network. Pinnacle of reward and recognition at the global
scale are UBS Global Achievement and Excellence awards. To receive the UBS award is to become a global role model for the
AIESEC network.

INTERNATIONAL
CONGRES IN TURKEY, HERE WE ARE!!!
Cameroon is represented at the
International Congres in Turkey by (02) from the National bureau.
AIESEC International Congress is one of the world biggest educational
conferences. Through a series of discussions and seminars with global business, cultural, science,
political, GO and NGO leaders, over 700 students from 95 countries will have a unique opportunity
to exchange opinions and discuss the most relevant issues affecting today's world.

Welcome
AIESEC Gabon to the Global Network!!!
During the Internation Presidents meeting that took place in Cairo, Egypt from the 18th - 28th of
February 2007 the global plenary has made a very important decision. They have recognized 5 more
countries as official expansion initiatives to increase the global network to 103 countries! Among
the new countries are Rwanda, Algeria, Vietnam, Jordan and our very own...
Gabon!!
Gabon is now an official extension country of AIESEC Cameroon!
Also, congratulations to AIESEC Gabon and their success in
implementing the ASK program (Answers, Solutions, Knowledge for HIV/Aids) for the first time! We
are so proud of the local committee in Gabon and all that they have achieved as a new AIESEC
entity. They are doing very well working with their community to fight against HIV/Aids in Gabon
with the help of an international intern from Belgium. Keep up the excellent work AIESEC in
Gabon!
