::: for fighting against HIV/AIDS, activating Entrepreneurship and ensuring Sustainability...

-----

In the framework of the Empowering Africa Program (EAP), AIESEC in Cameroon has selected 3 major issues that will be addressed in its national plan: HIV/AIDS, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

----

Through its exchange program, AIESEC will offer 73 Cameroonian organizations and 18 Cameroonian students the opportunity to go through a learning experience based on an international working environment. Cameroonian students and organisations will work with students from other countries to focus on development and international cooperation. This learning environment will involve conferences, trainings, interaction with organizations and institutions of higher education, all aiming to approach the 3 issues mentioned above. Local teams has been composed for this purpose and the EAP expects to provide benefits directly to 3 major cities in Cameroon, more than 100 AIESEC members, 91 students and organizations taking an active role in the exchange program and as well all stakeholders of AIESEC Cameroon.

------

Due to the involvement of 13 other African countries in the EAP, all following similar initiatives, we expect a strong impact in the whole region.

------

For the implementation of these ‘Projects Based on Exchange’ (P-BoX), AIESEC will incur all administrative costs, as well as marketing and training materials.  AIESEC will cover these expenses mainly through donations from other non-profit organizations and/or private institutions.

------

For ensuring the success of the program, there will be a measurement system in place that will guarantee the quality of the exchange program and the positive impact on society that is desired. This measurement system will be based on on-line platforms, surveys and reports directed to our members and stakeholders.
