How African YES! works?

Local university students are grouped in teams of four. Each team will complete the creation of a business plan within the 16 weeks of the project.

International young specialists will be acting as facilitators and guides during the process, also bringing best case practices of entrepreneurs from their countries of origin, expanding the perspective of the local students and increasing their international exposure and mindsets.

Each week local students will work in a different module (marketing, finances, legal registration, product/service delivery, etc) and will receive lectures from external guests from banks, foundations, NGOs, and other institutions linked to the topic of the week. There is also a skill building component – each week the participants will be developing a different ability (negotiation, persuasion, public speaking, etc).

A Board of Experts will be monitoring the process and mentoring the organizing committee as well as the international young specialists.
