The application process

1. After getting the required documents AIESEC Kenya hands them to the immigration department.At this point AIESEC is issued with an aknowledgement sheet with  a reference number. This is used for follow up on the progress of the work permit application
2. The immigration department scrutinises the documents at a committee.
3. After passing the committee stage the trainee is issued with a work permit notification certificate.
4. With the notification certificate the trainee or a certificate the trainee or an AIESEC representative collect the work permit from immigration department.
5. After the issue of the permit the trainee visits Nyayo house to have their passport stamped  and from here they apply for an alien Identification Card valid for their period of stay in Kenya
6. AIESEC Kenya retains the original documents of the work permit and gives the trainee and the company copies of this.
