In addition to providing over 5,000 leadership positions and delivering over 350 conferences , AIESEC also runs an exchange program that enables over 3,500 students and recent graduates the opportunity to live and work in another country.
AIESEC in Zimbabwe, now operating from 2 campuses which are University of Zimbabwe and Africa University, is an emporium for young individuals exuding entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation and abstract adaptability in the culturally diverse global envronment. AIESEC in Zimbabwe and PricewaterHouseCoopers recently signed a memorandum of understanding. This will see the two organisations partnering in various facets and it includes exchange as well.
AIESEC in Zimbabwe will be receiving an intern from Sweden who will be engaged with ZERO. This will add diversity to the AIESEC in Zimbabwe portifolio as we seek to increase exchange based experiences we have in Zimbabwe.
University of Zimbabwe and Proliant recently signed an MOU based on learning for the African Young Entrepreneurs Project. It was an event graced by the executive of AIESEC in Zimbabwe and the CEO of Proliant as well as a representative of SME's.
The National Conference of AIESEC in Zimbabwe is to be held in October. It is going to be a platform for AIESEC members to be in thrilled by the impact AIESEC can have in one's life.
Embassy Day.
AIESEC University of Zimbabwe is going to be hosting embassy day on the 5th of October 2007.
It is a day that has been set aside for students in higher learning circles to get to interact with
the international world. It will be an opportunity for students to explore the study opportunities,
cultural appreciation, and what is on offer in anticipation for exchange. On this day,
representatives of different countries and companies in Zimbabwe would be exhibiting their
educationl systems, culture, and other areas of interest.
