1. The AIESEC Experience

The AIESEC XP is the most powerful youth leadership development program in the world. It offers youth the opportunity to participate in an unbelievable amount of activities, gain amazing experiences, build a global network of friends and professionals and most importantly, discover your leadership potential.

An AIESEC XP lasts anywhere between 1-8 years but typically lasts for 4 years. First you will be introduced into AIESEC. Then you will join a team and take responsibility for activities that you are interested in. Here you start to learn key skills and gain experience in your chosen field. This could be sales, marketing, HR, finance, training, digital platforms... there are many opportuntiies. In the future, you can become a team leader as well as go work abroad. We actively encourage all AIESEC members to go work abroad. Finally, you head for the future by using the skills, experience and network you gained in AIESEC to have a positive impact on society..

At the core of AIESEC is the Local Committee (LC). Every LC has an Executive Board (EB) comprised of 1 President and 4 Vice-Presidents; the EB leads the LC and its members.

Each Vice-President is responsible for 1 functional area and all members have a role and participate in one of our functional areas. You choose which function to join and what role you want to play in the function. Your role allows you to build experience and discover your skills and passion, you are free to discover all the different areas of AIESEC at any time.

Our 4 functional areas are:

Communications (Comms)- Responsible for positioning AIESEC as the number one choice for youth leadership development in Cambodia. Handles media, leadership training, external relations and information systems.

Incoming Exchange (ICX)- Works with local organisations to bring young people from abroad to work in Cambodia

Outgoing Exchange (OGX)- Works with local youth to send them to go work abroad

Talent Management (TM)- Recruits members into AIESEC and ensures that they maximise their learning and development during their AIESEC Experience.

This is open to all students (NOT graduates). We strongly prefer students to only have one degree as this means they have more time to invest in their own development and AIESEC.
