Work Abroad Progam

The Work Abroad Program allows you to go WORK abroad around the world! It is NOT to go study abroad but to actually work on a project for a company or NGO.  

The program is available to any undergraduate or recent gradautes (graduated within the last 18 months). You can choose the country and work that you do and the time duration is from 6 weeks to 18 months depending on the job. AIESEC has been sending youth to go work abroad for 60 years and we are the most experienced and professional organisation for sending youth to work and explore other countries. We offer 4 categories of work:

Development Traineeship-Work for an NGO or social project (requires NO work experience, unpaid work, usually accomodation or food is provided for free)

Education Traineeship-Teach around the world ranging from kindergarten to advanced level students (requires basic work experience, sometimes is paid)

Technical traineeship-Work in IT or engineering companies and projects (requires extensive engineering or IT knowledge and medium level experience, paid work)

Management Traineeship- Work in a company on a specific project (requires EXTENSIVE real work experience and high-level of knowledge, paid work)

How to work abroad

1. Register with your Local Committee Contact--> Click here now to contact them!
2. Have an interview with AIESEC. This is so that we can evaluate if our program can meet your expectations.
3. If you pass the program you can proceed to go work abroad. You now need to pay AIESEC to continue. The fee is $200 for students and $150 for AIESECers.
4. Register on www.myaiesec.net and work with AIESEC to find your dream job!
5. Pay for your flights and visa (YOU pay for your flights and visa) then go to have the experience of a lifetime!

IMPORTANT PLESAE READ

AIESEC DOES NOT guarantee you a job. The job you can get depends on your experience and ability. Therefore, you must be realistic in which job you wish to get.

► If you have ZERO to MEDIUM experience you can only do a Development or Education Traineeship

►If you have a HIGH level of professional experience and education you can apply for Development, Education, Managament and Technical roles

► Most students will only be able to do a Development or Education Traineeship

►  For most students we recommend going to work abroad in Asia for 6-16 weeks. This will help you get important work experience and develop crucial skills so that in the future you can apply for better jobs and positions.
