The History of AIESEC-LC-HKU
AIESEC was first introduced to Hong Kong in 1967,
and AIESEC-LC-HKU was established as the first LC in Hong Kong. There have been changes in our
timeline and structure since our establishment.
AIESEC,
as an Organization, is comprised all subsystems which are necessary to reach our vision,
impact and goals.
The AIESEC sub-systems model outlines the core
activity & process structure of the organization. Each of the sub-systems is separate but they
are all interdependent on each other.
The following is the structure of AIESEC HKU.

Reception Team
|
To ensure quality incoming exchange experience, to
create a global environment and to promote exchange culture within the Local Committee.

Outgoing Exchange Team
|
To sustain the exchange process in the AIESEC
experiences, to ensure the quantity and quality of outgoing exchange, to maximize the learning of
outgoing exchange participants and to cultivate exchange culture in the Local Committee.

|
Human Resources Team
|
To recruit the right people into the organization and
manage our human resources to maximize the Local Committee performance.
|
|
People Development Team
|
To maximize the learning of each member and their
development within the AIESEC Experience.
|
|
Finance Team
|
To maintain a healthy financial situation in the Local
Committee through planning, budgeting, allocating, controlling and reviewing financial resources
effectively
|
|
Marketing and Sales Team
|
To ensure the quantity and quality of Incoming
Exchange experience, and generate and utilize external resources to contribute to the development
of the Local Committee.

Communications Team
|
To maintain communications between all stakeholders
both externally; to promote AIESEC within campus with strong and correct image; and to establish
rapport in our alumni network
|
|
Information Management Team
|
To support the international organization with the use
of latest Information, Communication Technology (ICT); to ensure information can be provided at the
right place to the right people at the right time by implementing different Knowledge Management
(KM) practice.
