Internship Partner - Finance and Enterprises Office, The University of Hong

The Finance and Enterprises Office is an administrative department of the
University of Hong Kong. They aim at being a centre of excellent finance management, providing
professional, client-oriented and distinguished services to the University Community. At present,
they have around 125 staff.
Trainees taken:
In 2001, Korean trainee, Sue, and French trainee, Roger, have been taken as trainees.
In 2002, Thai trainee, Jacqui, has come to Hong Kong as a trainee. This year, Paul from UK,
is working in the Office as trainee. The traineeship will end at late August.
Reasons for taking trainees:
Extra human resources were needed to handle the heavy workload during peak season.
Job tasks of trainees:
Job tasks of trainees:To assist (within campus)
in:
(a) processing / preparation of journal entries,
invoices and payment vouchers, etc.;
(b) data input for the University's General Ledger,
Ordering and Payment Systems using computerized financial system;
(c) budgetary monitoring and financial accounting
matters of various University's account;
(d) and handling of general clerical duties.
