Learning Environment
What makes a learning
organization different from other organizations is how unique & different it’s learning
environment is.
This gives a framework to LC activities for @XP implementation.
The goal of a learning activity is
to enhance the level of knowledge of its participants, be it around a functional area or around a
specific issue. Through their involvement in Learning Activities, participants should develop the
change agent characteristics, which are: socially responsible, active learner, culturally
sensitive, entrepreneurial.

Teams are the basis of our organizational structure. They are comprised of at
clearly defined structure and shared responsibilities. Teams in AIESEC are usually considered of at
least 1 team leader and 3 team members. They work together for a defined space of time and towards
a common agreed goal. Working in a team gives members the opportunity to acquire personal and
professional skills. |

AIESEC Learning Circles are local learning communities formed by local and
international AIESECers who share a common interest in gaining experience, knowledge and building a
network. They take the form of regular discussions (e.g. every two weeks) that are led by an AIESEC
member with a previous interest or knowledge in the topic of the discussion. As such, they build on
two principles of the AIESEC Experience: taking an active role in your learning and the learning of
others, and challenging your worldview. |

|
Conferences and Seminars are forums of discussion which bring together AIESEC
members, representatives of external organisations and university students to share their knowledge
and gain new insights.

Mentoring is a one to one relationship that allows mentors to support mentees in
finding their own path for development and growth. It is a “means to an end”, the ultimate
objective is the realization of the mentee’s full potential by exploring alternatives with the
support and encouragement of the mentor. |
