About CRRA

·       First ever HIV / AIDS projecin UTM

·       Primary aim of bringing youth closer to the issue of HIV / AIDS

·       Participation from various parties, including university authorities, students, members of the public, NGOs, as well as government and private sectors.

·       AIESEC Learning Networks Concept - Initiative group of volunteers (AIESEC ambassadors fromother countries) will be formed and continued to work on the issue even when the project has ended.

·       Objectives:

  1. To increase the awareness of the youth on HIV / AIDS as well as issues revolving around HIV / AIDS
  2. To provide care and assistance to people living with OR affected by HIV / AIDS
  3. To encourage the youth to be more involved in giving recommendations, taking actions  and becoming the solution for the issue today
  4. To minimize the consequences of perception and thoughts on HIV / AIDS to all involved, especially people living with HIV / AIDS

Highlight of CRRA 2009

      
       
 

ü      CRRA ’09 Opening Ceremony –" " “A Run For Live” (17 th January 2009)

·         Introduction and officiating event to students of UTM and externals involved in the project.

·         Charity Marathon Runs.

·         Exhibition regarding HIV/AIDS issue by the NGOs

 

ü      Poster Designing Competition

·         The theme of the poster is HIV/AIDS. The winner’& 1 s poster will be printed on the bag that we are going to use during conference.

 

ü      ‘Truth’ Conference (7-8th March 2009)

·        Information sessions on HIV / AIDS to students and members of AIESEC

·        “Treasure Hunt” - Challenging knowledge assessment session.

 

ü      Voluntary services at NGOs (to be held once a week)

·         Visitations and volunteering by students and members of AIESEC

·         Externals involved:

                         I.      INTAN Life Zone

                        II.      Johor AIDS Action and Research Society (JAARS)

 

ü      Participation in activities organized by NGOs

 

ü      CRRA ’09 Closing Ceremony (21 st March 2009)

·         Recognition event for all parties involved in project
