AIESEC engages young people right in the moment when they are wrestling with the questions that determine the ambition and direction of their future.

AIESEC's role is to provide support and experiences that shake up their thinking and unlocks their true potential.

We do this through goal-setting, personal vision creation and mentorship, while also providing life-shaking experiences such as exchange, an inspiring environment and leadership opportunities.

Exploring your potential means realizing who you are and what you want to do with your life. It entails questions such as What is important to you? What are you capable of? What will be your contribution to those around you? What do you need to do to get there?

The answers to these questions hold great importance. It is these answers that determine the ambition and direction of an individual's life. It is in them that one decides the type of impact they want to make on society positive/negative, big/small.

One important role of AIESEC is to engage individual’s right at the moment they are wrestling with these questions - during and directly after university - and give them the support and experiences to answer them in a way that will unlock their potential.

We want our members to see a link between personal goals and involvement in AIESEC and develop the discipline of goal-setting.

We support and encourage the development of personal visions through informal and/or formal exercises and discussions.

Mentorship
We cultivate mentorship relationships to provide a supportive space for feedback and guidance to your personal reflections.

The challenge of living and working in another country will gives you new perspectives on yourself and how you see the world.

Leadership Lightening
Bolts a common occurrence in AIESEC, leadership lightening bolts are those moments when others see value in your idea or capability. They give confidence and fundamentally change the role you expect to play in situations.
