Do
I need to have good grades to apply for exchange through AIESEC?
No- When we are doing the selection process, we aim to find out more about you, and what your strengths and weaknesses are. We want to know whether you would be a suitable participant to travel to the host country, be a good intern, and be a good ambassador for Thailand as well as for AIESEC. Most
important is your motivation for going on exchange.

Can
I do a very short duration internship?
No-
if
you are a student and you wish to go for exchange this summer, you should expect to leave Thailand
for the host country as soon as possible after your last exam, and return only shortly before the
first day of your classes resuming.
While the absolute minimum duration available is 6 weeks, a great majority of the internships available during our summer are longer in duration. There
is a minimum time duration criteria for our internships because we need to ensure that they
actually achieve a positive impact on the community and our participants develop through them, as
well as really integrate into the culture of the host country.

I'm
an international student - can I apply to go for exchange back to my home country?
No- the NGOs, businesses, community groups and organisations with whom we work want to have interns through AIESEC because we provide global exchange programs, that aim to achieve more cross-cultural understanding.

Can I go together with a friend?
Maybe-
we
can do our very best to find you both suitable internships in the same country, and even the same
city/region. However, we can not absolutely guarantee it, because of course the most important
thing is that each person's specific internship is suitable for them, and that each of the
organisations with whom we partner receives an intern that is most suitable for their needs. But,
we can promise that you will make new friends and have a lot of fun opportunities wherever you are.
One of the selection requirements is that you can survive and adapt to living in a foreign
environment.
