The Global Internship Program

aiesec

The
GLOBAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM is a practical working and learning experience for the intern to develop academic knowledge and professional skills. Every internship should aim to provide a life-changing experience through the following:
  1. Personal Development
  2. Professional Development
  3. Societal Impact
  4. Cultural Exposure
  5. Networking Opportunities

Why go on an International Exchange Experience?

The concept of going taking on international internship experiences abroad is based on the notion that an individual will never truly be able to explore himself/herself, unless they are placed in a situation that is completely foreign to them and forced to adapt to their environment. It is only through adapting and experiencing new things and having no one but ourselves to help us get through them will we be able to really know our strengths and weaknesses as people.

Going on Exchange does exactly that. It aims to provide an experience that will have its participants discover themselves in this vast world and find their place in it as individuals with a specific identity. Furthermore working on international projects would also serve as a way for the participants to put their skills that they have to good use as they apply their learnings in socially relevant projects.

The Internship Process

STAGE 1: Application and Selection
Applicants for the program undergo a rigorous selection process consisting
of interviews and Assessment activities to ensure that applicants are
emotionally, physically, mentally, financially and logistically ready for the
