NGUYEN LAM VINH PHUC ( Exchange in Indonesia Summer 2009 )
|
|
I want to challenge and so develop myself. And I believe that when I put
myself in a totally unfamiliar situation where I cannot use my own language and
everything requires me to learn as a starter, it stimulates my survival skill and I will
be more disciplined striving for better. Moreover, I'm a Aiesecer, I want to experience exchange
myself first to provide better support for Vietnamese students to take internship later.
I chose Indonesia because it fited my budget and Indonesia was yet
to be AIESEC Vietnam partner, so aside from my work, I also involved in AIESEC activities
here and trying to raise partnership with them as well as learning their
experience.
To develop yourself well, at first you need to know well where you are. Going abroad, you
are likely expose all your weaknesses as there is just no one close enough to cover all
difficulties for you. I wanted to overcome my weaknesses. And being a foreigner is a great
chance for you to do that. E.g.,I speaked English freely, I did presentations before so many
foreign people , I can actively approach people .., do you think you can do those things
at ease back in Vietnam?
Last of not least, thanks to the internship, I had the chance to see how developed
other countries compared to Vietnam. Indonesia alone is much more superior than Vietnam from the
way they are building their country. People’ mind, their professionalism, their education,…are
different. From these things, I can estimate how much Vietnam in general and myself personally need
to improve, more exactly, dashing to keep pace with others and hopefully in the near future,
surpass them.

SU KIM NGAN ( Exchange in Bulgaria 2008-2009 )
|
|
My name is Kim Ngan, graduate from FTU (Foreign Trade University). I had 3
months internship in Bulgaria as a DT (development traineeship). 3 months in Bulgaria has scored
one of the most beautiful memory in my life and i had experienced many great things there. But
firstly i have learned how to deal with many difficulties - which you may face with when you
live on your own and far from your family. I also experienced myself in the Organizing
Committee team of Spring Co - an international conference taken place in Svishtov
Bulgaria. Lots of new friends, knowledge about new culture, food and travelling around
Bulgaria.

NGUYEN THU HA (Exchange in Japan, 2007-2008)
|
|
My name is Nguyen Thu Ha, currently a senior student at Foreign
Trade University HCMC. I'm interested in singing, drawing, travelling, making friends... I took the
internship in Canon corp, Japan (MT) from 2007/7~2008/4
Joining AIESEC exchange program is a great change in my life.
From a 3th-year student with normal records at school and not remarkable academic background, I
could have the opportunity to go oversea, work in Canon, a global corporation, study many new
things regarding my internship focus, meet lots of amazing people, from high-profiled businessmen
to my gentle helpful co-workers, from talented international students to extremely kind and
enthusiastic AIESEC friends.
After 10 months of my internship, I noticed how much I had
learned and grew up. Now I have my own vision, passion and courage to proceed on the path to my
future.
Now you have the opportunity, so just challenge yourself and I
believe you would gain much more than that. AIESEC is the greatest experience that you would never
regret.
