AIESEC Week
Career Day , which has this year recorded its 17th year of existence, was held at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb the 9th and the 10 th of March. The goal of this part of the project is to bring the business world and the students aiming to enter it to one place and to enable young intellectual forces to be employed or to perform professional practice in the leading Croatian companies, which were this year specialized in financial and accounting market. At the same time, companies have the opportunity to inform students about their work and present themselves as future employers. All this is supported by interactive workshops on entrepreneurship and its development in Croatia. There is in addition an important goal, particularly in our current circumstances: to eradicate the established opinion that the job comes only by nepotism and to prove to the students that they can get a good job with persistence, knowledge and skills. 
Global Village is a traditional international event that has been organized by local and national AIESEC committees in order to promote the culture of countries around the world and to promote tolerance among races and nationalities. This year, AIESEC Zagreb has organized such an event for the first time in Croatia, at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb. The event had been attended by participants from over 10 countries, including Brazil, China, Ukraine, Russia, Venezuela and many others. Given that, as already stated, the event is held at the Faculty, the same can be attended by students, teachers and other employees of the university. They will have the opportunity to try traditional cuisine, browse a variety of promotional materials on the above mentioned countries, and personally talk with participants. Global Village participants are offered the entire weekend package which includes a tour of the old town, a trip to Sljeme, traditional Croatian lunch, an evening visit to Zagorje and Tuheljske Spa and a barbecue.
