AIESEC : Highschoolers meet enterpreneurship

For the second year in a row AIESEC Zagreb organises  an educational project for highschoolers named „ Young Enterpreneurs in Croatia“ .

From 01.02. till 27.03 AIESEC conducts  aproject intended for highschoolers from third and forth year of gymnasiums and economic high schools with intention to give them an opportunity to develop their basic enterpreneurship skills so they could prepare themselves as early as they can for competitive global market.

Dew to its importance for population of students form high schools  the project  was recognised by the Ministry of science,education and sport .High schools that were involved in this project last year were thrilled to participate again in this year: Prva gimnazija, Četvrta gimnazija, Gornjogradska te Gimnazija Lucijana Vranjanina. The goal is to ensure opportunity of participation for as many of students as we can so this year we had some other schools that joined the project:   Peta gimnazija, Klasična gimnazija, Gimnazija Tituš Brezovački, privatna škola INOVA and Druga opća privatna gimnazija.  To ensure that spirit of entrepreneurship leaves Zagreb and spreads on other cities in Croatia all Local Committees of AIESEC in Croatia (Zagreb, Split, Osijek, Varaždin, Rijeka) conducted same project.

Weeks are divided by themes so students could first learn something about team work,enterpreneurship and leadership,negotiation techniques and presentation skills and at the end project management and their own carrier.

Last week is intended for questions connected with their future after high shool :„Which faculty to choose?“  and „How to plan my long term carrier?“. Special feature of this project is that workshops are held by students from foreign countries (USA,Russia,Brazil...) and that all of the workshops are held on English. Beside meeting with enterprenual world,and improvement of their English skills, students were given an opportunity to meet with different cultures and to learn about entrepreneurship on different and fun way which provides them for sure with a unique experience that they will not forget.
