There is a range of activities that trainees can participate in including country evenings, Global Village, sports events, conferences, coffee talks and discussions on global and local issues. Our trainees are a part of our local committee. They are involved in teams consisting of Czech students of diverse age and other trainees. This makes the unique international atmosphere. But the best would be now to let the trainees to share their opinions with you:
"When I first came as a trainee in Prague, I had the feeling that something is
missing. I was missing my family, my friends and everything I was letting behind me. Step by step I
started to know new great people, to get more and more close to them and to
do a lot of new things together. Every day something is coming up, everyday you have something to do, everyday you are trying new emotions and that's why everyday I feel lucky. Thanks to this experience I can see now my future with other eyes and I am sure that one day I will miss my life from Prague like I missed at the beginning my life from Romania" Adi Tita, Romania (CEZ Group) “I attended ANC (April National Conference) 2006 , one of the coolest Aiesec conferences I had during my two years in Aiesec. I had great time with all people and remarkable experience during three days. It gave me a great opportunity to meet all the Aiesecers in CZ and participate in their ongoing activities. No need to say anything about the crazy parties during the nights, be ready, be drunk (it does not matter, soon or later you’re going to be drunk), be cool and be attractive for the next one…I would like to thank all guys who worked really hard to prepare that conference..nazdravi” Alp Eren Yilmaz, Turkey (DHL) We had great fun during the Trainee Reception Weekend – Easter Day & Christmas. I personally would say that it definitely exceeded my expectation. How people celebrate holidays is an important part of a culture and we are very glad that we got to know more much about Czech culture, and also made it to have people from different parts of the world sit together and share our own traditions for holidays which opened our horizons. We learnt a lot, enjoyed a lot, and really appreciate the good effort that AIESECers made for us, especially during these busy school days. We were very much touched by what AIESEC did for us. The food was delicious, the presentation and introduction was informative and interactive, and being part of the holiday preparation has been exciting for us. Thank you AIESEC and we really look forward to more of these events to come! Jenny Fang Hu, China (Johnson & Johnson) |
