Europe Meets Latin America: A Forum for Young Leaders: The Bicentenary”
(EMLA)
is an active network of young leaders from across the world, who conduct activity to strengthen
European-Latin American relations. Members join the forum by taking part in an EMLA Weeklong
Seminar. The forthcoming EMLA Weeklong Seminar will be held in Berlin from 14th – 19th February
2010 and will have as a theme
“
The Bicentenary: The Legacies of Latin American Independence and the Opportunities Ahead”.
The
program will consist of lectures, workshops, seminars, as well as cultural and social activities.
During the last three days of the program participants will take part in
“
Nuestra America: An Interdisciplinary Analysis of the Roles of Global Politics & Civil Society
in International Economics”.
