Individual competency assessment

The individual assessment tool has been developed by our partners Career Innovation and is used as a developmental tool where our members are able to track their development while going through the AIESEC experience. With this tool, you develop the habit of goal-setting and learning through experience as it is available to you anytime you want to do your assessment as an AIESEC member.

For AIESEC it would also help align individual and organisational goals, and provide top-level data on the learning and skills of AIESEC members.

What the tool does for you:

  • Allows you to complete a self-assessment at any time where you can also generate feedback from several other people.
  • Helps you to interpret the assessment data and plan your learning based on the competencies you want to develop further.
  • Provides you with a report based on the AIESEC competency model so you can seek for coaching and mentoring using it as you please.

For the organization

  • To help ensure that performance appraisals support the AIESEC way, by linking them to the AIESEC competencies
  • To track changes over time, to encourage learning and demonstrate the impact that AIESEC is having on the membership
  • Provides us with the possibility of measuring the impact that we are having as an organization on the competencies development of our members; therefore enabling the possibility of measuring the quality of the AIESEC experience.

We are very pleased to partner with AIESEC and create an online assessment tool that members can use to evaluate personal growth. This initiative encourages individuals to develop the habit of goal-setting and learning from experience,

and helps them see where and how they can have a positive impact on society.
