Alejandra Laiton studied Social Communication and Journalism in Colombia. She realized her traineeship in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in the social sector in the Free Agency of Information, Citizenship and Education – ALICE. ALICE is a non-governmental organization that has as an objective to develop communication projects directed to social sector.

During the traineeship she worked in the creation of a newspaper compiled by people living on streets, participated in workshops for youth, elderly people and children. Also, she took part in discussions with students and Brazilian professionals.

Now she has returned to Colombia to start her term as a National Vice President of AIESEC in Colombia 2006-2007, where she can put into practice all the knowledge she acquired and contribute to the Social Entrepreneurship Program.
