The Abu Dhabi Youth Congress was held for the first time ever in 2011 and turned out to be a tremendous success. It attracted over 300+ students
with high profile speakers such as Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Ali bin Rashid al Nuaimi, the CEO of Al Ihsan Charity centre and Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum,
a member of the ruling family of Dubai. Inaugurated by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research ( also the
President of Zayed University), the event consisted of discussions and workshops on topics relevant to the youth of today. The 2012 version is expected to be bigger
and better.
