Each year, we provide over 10,000 AIESEC members the challenging opportunity to live
and work in a foreign country in areas of management, technology, education and development. The
purpose of international internship is to enable international managerial skills, work in
multicultural team and opportunity to learn and understand other cultures to students.
Types of internships
Development - usually with NGOs, internships usually relate to wide variety of issues in community development. Educational - internships related to promotion, curriculum development, teaching, and counseling in the education sector. Technical - internships related to management and development in web, software, networks, and databases, plus some engineering. Management - internships related to administration, finance, accounting, marketing, project management and HR. Trainee age: 18 - 29 years old Duration of internship can be minimum 6 weeks and maximum 18 month. It takes between 1 – 3 months to find an internship and complete the selection processes Costs: Salary covers living costs (except development internships) Airfare is not included 
The recruitment process 1. Submitting of application form 2. Review Boards During that part we will ask you certain questions regarding your motivation, competencies and skills. It will take not more then 40 min. 3. Language proficiency We need you to provide us documents confirming your language proficiency (e.g. certificate, diploma, exams results from University, Collage, Language School) of all languages that you declare in exchange participant questionnaire . 4. Singing the contract with AIESEC and paying fee 5. Outgoing Preparation Seminar It is dedicated for selected candidates. At this seminar you will get to know the organization and get prepared to go abroad. Internship fee For management, technical, educational internships - AED 2,200 to be paid in two parts: - AED 1,000 – payable on signing the contract and filling the Exchange Participant Form - AED 1,200 payable on match confirmation (getting Acceptance Notes from organization/company you are going to). For development internship - AED 1,500 to be paid in two parts: - AED 1,000 – payable on signing the contract and filling the Exchange Participant Form - AED 500 – payable on match confirmation (getting Acceptance Notes from organization/company you are going to).
