Traineeship Program

Recruit a trainee:

The AIESEC exchange programme offer:

•  Cost-effectiveness:
o Minimum salary is 12,500 DKK
o Monthly service fee to AIESEC is 2,500 DKK
o All major fields and specific skill-sets can be matched
o Tailored for project work, alleviation of seasonal loads, or resource shortages

•  Profiling and selection:
o When you agree to take on an AIESEC trainee in your organisation, we tailor the partnership to meet your organisation’s strategic objectives and set up specific sourcing and delivery models to support the operation of the program. The information that you provide us describing what you’re looking for in a trainee is inputted into our international database where candidates will access it. Upon the aligning of interests, objectives and requirements of both the company and the student through the above processes, an interview then takes place, and, if successful, a match between the company and international candidate has occurred.

•  Screening and assessment:
o In each country AIESEC together with external partners pre-screens and assesses candidates for their abilities and potential to participate in an AIESEC traineeship.

•  Preparation:
o AIESEC in cooperation with external partners and former trainees conduct preparation seminars preparing trainees for the cultural journey and challenges they will face.

•  Visa/work and stay permit, housing, integration and practicalities:
o Facilitates visas and required permits for its trainees and trainee companies from anywhere for a period of 2-18 months.
o Coordinate local housing for the trainee
o Provides local support to help with cultural integration and to help strengthen their personal network. Facilitate an orientation session and welcome reception for the student upon their arrival

•  Evaluations and re-integration:
o Throughout the traineeship period, evaluations are administered for both the company and the trainee to ensure the experience is both meaningful and beneficial. This helps ensure that future exchanges remain successful and that your relationship with AIESEC in the future is a valuable and effective partnership
o Re-integration into their home country is co-ordinated by us with the option of full-time re-hiring by your company

Sign-up for your trainee

We have made it easy and flexible to work with our exchange programme. The following 5 steps take you to your new global talent:

1. Contact the AIESEC office closest to you to request an informative or consultative meeting

2. Fill in your requirements and preferences in our Job Questionnaire (found here) and sign the contract, can be submitted to aiesecdenmark@aiesec.dk

3. AIESEC provides a short-listing of suitable candidates and you are able to start with interviews and selection

4. AIESEC handles cultural preparation, visa procedures, pick up and accommodation
 
5. AIESEC provides ongoing activities for the trainee and connects them to a large network of other AIESECers. AIESEC provides a cultural training for your intern and supports you in order for you to have a good start.

Requirements to your company:
• Relevant job description and responsibilities
• Working space
• Traineeship duration: 2-18 months
• Administration of the employment contract: A trainee is a normal employee, so common procedures such as taxes, insurance, etc. needs to be followed

Cost
• Start-up administration fee of 2,500 DKK
• Monthly fee to AIESEC of 2,500 DKK
• Trainee salary: 12,500 DKK
