Types of InternshipsGlobal Community Development Program / Stage en Développement Humanitaire a l'étranger T he intern has the opportunity to work in a CSR department, NGO, high school, language school, university or other organisation and will spend the majority of his/her time working in areas related to community development issues. These areas may include rural development and social entrepreneurship, children's rights, environmental issues, general, language, and cross cultural education, and HIV/AIDS, among others. · These internships are usually shorter term, from 6 weeks to 6 months and do not generally require previous work experience. Global Internship Program / Stage en Entreprise a l'étranger The intern spends the majority of his/her time working in areas related to management or information technology/engineering. These areas may include business, administration, finance, accounting, marketing, project management, organizational management or human resources, life or medical sciences, law etc. If the intern is working in the technical area, s/he may spend most of his/her time doing: web development and management, software development and programming, system analysis and design, network management, database management and engineering. · These internships are generally longer term, from 6 months to 1 year and a half, and require previous work experience and/or studies.
General information

· Induction into AIESEC and ability to join projects in the local committee
· Training on how to search for internships & support in finding an internship
· Outgoing Preparation Seminar
· Support upon arrival to the host country including airport pickup, finding accommodation, opening a bank account & getting a cell phone, going to work on the first day, etc.
· The AIESEC network: meeting interns and other international youth, participating in events and conferences
· Support throughout the internship with any problems work related or otherwise from an AIESEC representative
· Reintegration into the Local Committee in France & Post-internship follow up

Review Board & Online PaymentIf you want to go on an internship you have to pass a Review Board Intervew. The aim of the interview is to assess your motivation for going abroad, expectations and skills and flexibility to go on an internship. The interview is held in English. The internship fee is paid online if you are accepted into the program. |
Attend an Outgoing Preparation SeminarBefore you leave for your internship, you will attend an “Outgoing Exchange Preparation Seminar“ (OPS) where you will be prepared to live in a different culture and receive training on how to find the most suitable internship using our online platform. Your geographical flexibility and persistence will determine how soon you find an internship. |
The InternshipThe AIESEC Committee abroad will pick you up from the airport, help you find a place to stay and generally support you with all legal/work related inquiries – you are never alone ! Depending on the committee, you will have the opportunity to get involved in projects, meet other interns and participate in social events and conferences. |
Re-integrationAIESEC supports your reintegration into France. We give you the opportunity to share your experience with others and to get involved in the local committee in one of our Team Member or Team Leader Programmes. |
