For many tasks that you take over in AIESEC, you will easily find equivalents in the business world. The experiences gained in AIESEC can consequently be well transferred to your job. Presentations in front of groups or larger audiences, sales meetings (e. g. to convince a company to open a position for an AIESEC-trainee) and the work with persons from different cultures are very good examples. The opportunity to work in committed teams and also to lead teams was an invaluable experience for me, of which I was able to benefit right at the beginning of my professional life. Moreover, AIESEC showed me what you can achieve by taking responsibility and proactive work. Last but not least, AIESEC has raised my awareness that apart from the typical business objectives such as cost reduction, there is more to strive for as for example the development of the employees.
