Since 1987 AIESEC|IAESTE Kaiserslautern made it possible for students to do an internship abroad, to gain professional experiences and competences. And also last year our members reached a lot and gained skills as well as a lot of experiences: Some of them organized the “International Culture Week” at university; others were responsible for the integration of the international trainees from all over the world; in the project – Shuttle2BIZ – some had contact to companies. All these experiences were made in an international environment here in Kaiserslautern where our members got to know the trainees also in a private way and learned about their background and culture. Of course, some went abroad to do an
international internship in Computer Science, Management Engineering and other fields.
I by myself had an amazing time in the last year and also since September, when I actually became Local Committee President of AIESEC|IAESTE Kaiserslautern. I contributed to the development of the national strategy of AIESEC Germany for more than 2,500 member; The team and leading experience and being responsible for a Local Committee is also a great experience.
