Alumni Event at Balux House Project

 

AIESEC in Greece successfully organized its first for this term Alumni event with the participation of more than 50 Alumni. The event was held at Balux House Project at 13 November. At the event, alumni had the chance to meet the leadership body of AIESEC in Greece, see old friends, learn about AIESEC in Greece and AIESEC International reality today and see the next steps to grow the organisation.



 

 

 

 

HeADCo 2009: Generation of Achievers

 

Our first nati onal Conference HeADCo for the   new term was held successfully at 19-22 of November, at Leventis Hotel, Lamia, with “ Generation of Achievers” being its theme. HeADCo 2009 was the biggest ever organized with a record- number of 244 students from 7 Greek Universities and a lot of alu mni and partners engaged through workshops and trainings.


 

 

 

 

Youth Generation Forum



Three very important Forums are organized this year with the colaboration of AIESEC Hellas and MONEY SHOW, in terms of MONEY SHOW GREECE 2009. The Forums will take place in Thessaloniki, Chios and Athens. The theme of the Forum is Youth Entrepreneuship and how it is varieted according to its city needs. Among the speakers will be partners, alumni  and leaders of the organisation.

The main topics will be from social understanding and cross-cultural culture to entrepreneurship to all areas of the world according to its territory needs.

The first Forum of the three, took place in Thessaloniki, at 29/11 in Hayat Hotel Regency Casino, named "Youth Generation Forum: Creating Action". The subjects that were selected and in terms of the continuous growth and effort of the organisation to fit with its external environment, were: Employability Skills, Entrepreneuship in Balcan area, Millenium Development Goals - Goal 8: Building of Global Partership for Development, Diversification of Growth between technology and idustries in BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China). Those attend ed the event had the chance to actively participate and develop their ideas and thoughts through team-talks and questions to the speakers.

Youth Generation Forum: Creating Impact in the city of Chios, is the second in a row forum after the one in Thessaloniki (with issue Raising Awareness) , organized by AIESEC Hellas and is about life, labour, cooperation, interaction and education of the individuals in multicultural societies. And every single experience into this diversificated learning environment offers something unique and special to each person.


Come to discover the diversity, to offer your own unique element and participate into this multicultural learning environment!

After the succesful event of Thessaloniki and the very promising one in Chios island, AIESEC in Greece is heading on achieving the maximum of its impact through YOUTH GENERATION FORUM in Athens!!!Its subtitle is " affecting societies'' and our main goal is to activate youth people in order to take initiaves based on their interests. This forum aims to reveal the potential of students through providing them not only knoweledge in interesting topics ( Leadership, Sustainable Development, Youth entrepreneurship, Youth Volunteerism, Social Media ) but also the space to interact by sharing their opinions and ideas!!!

AIESEC Partners, professors,alumni and representatives of AIESEC are engaged in this event that is taking place in Athens, Hilton Hotel at 11.00 a.m at December 19th !!We are glad to invite you in this special event!!

 

 

AIESEC University of Patras

 

AIESEC in Greece is proud to announce you the opening of new Local committee at University o f Patras , making it the 7 th LC in Greece!! AIESEC U.P had a delegation at our national conference, HeADCo '09, making a big goal of AIESEC in Greece a reality. Patra's University is a highly-potential for AIESEC, as it is one of the biggest in Greece with thousands of students while having a great number of Departments, covering almost all education sectors. Shortly after the conference an EB team was elected and AIESEC in Patra started working to make exchanges and have impact on the local society.

There are many ways, so as to get involved to AIESEC in Greece now and come back to AIESEC life. Some of them:

One of the most direct ways to get involved is to participate in one of our forthcoming events (Youth Generation Forum, NLM ).

  • Youth Generation Forum in Athens(Hilton Hotel) at December 19 th where you could attend as as a delegate or deliver workshops.

  • National Legislation Meeting at Levendis Hotel at January 10 th -13 th , where you could deliver trainings or workshops on soft/hard and leadership skills.

  • Raise Exchanges(Bringing interns) for your company

  • Participate in our National Conferences & Events through workshops, trainings or launches
