The Local CommitteeAIESEC Linköping is one of the six local committees in Sweden. The local committee AIESEC Linköping first opened in the 1970's and was very successful. In year 2000 it was closed down once, but reopened again in year 2006 and in December 2008 finally regained full member status. AIESEC Linköping is today run by an Executive Board of 6 members with different backgrounds and around 10 members studying full time in different programs in the University of Linköping.The executive board and AIESEC Linköping's members are engaged in organizational activities in several areas, student relations and interaction with the business community being the main ones. AIESEC Linköping provides its members and all students at the University of Linköping with possibilities to go on business community and in providing local business with the opportunity to employ interns from abroad.
