Who are we?AIESEC
Uppsala, being one of the six local committees in AIESEC Sweden and one of the 107 countries in
AIESEC worldwide, has been serving students and companies for the past 30 years. Through our
highly recognized Global Internship Program we provide an international platform for young people
to explore and develop their leadership potential, as well as promote cultural diversity and global
understanding. Each year, AIESEC Uppsala sends students abroad for international working
experiences. Furthermore, we receive international exchange participants and provide them
with opportunities to live and work in the region of Uppsala.
How do we work?
Our office works very closely with a broad range of stakeholders including both students as well as companies and administers the areas of external relations, human resources, communication, finance, sales, marketing and international exchange. We create the conditions in our work for personal development and professional team management and always strive for continuous learning and improvement in order to make the organization grow. AIESEC Uppsala believes in fostering a corporate culture where working is made fun, and emphasis is put on good leadership, good management and good communication. All of this provides our members with practical experiences and skills that are highly demanded by employers today.

Domains of workIn order to provide students with the challeging opportunity to live and work in a foreign country, AIESEC Uppsala manages different projects grouped into two domains of work:Outgoing Exchange (OGX): the Outgoing Exchange is the process in which we send students from Uppsala University to go on and live as well as work in a foreign country .
Incoming Exchange
(ICX) : the Incoming Exchange is the process in which we recruit foreign students
to come and live as well as work for a companie based in the region of Uppsala.
