Thank You for the amazing International Career Days 2009

The International Career Days Team and the Master's Program in International Affairs and Governance (MIA) would like to thank the Partners Bundesamt für Statistik, cinfo, Eidgenössisches Personalamt, European Union, Kanton St.Gallen, Stadt St.Gallen, The World Bank and UNEP, and  for an unforgetable day. We also want to thank all the students who have participated in the workshop and who were visiting the fair. We are hoping to welcome all the partners and some of the students at the International Career Days 2010. Thank you a lot!

Here are some impressions of November 24th 2009:

First carried out in 2007, the International Career Days are not merely a job fair but more importantly they provide students with the opportunity to become better acquainted in an informal setting with companies, agencies and organizations that have both a strong public and international component. Offered once every year, this fair will most definitely enhance the students' career planning. Participating companies, government agencies and organizations are offered a recognized platform to allow them to introduce themselves to students. At the same time, there is the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge on how the International Affairs and Governance program operates in concrete terms, what specific capacities and skills students acquire at St. Gallen, and with what training the University's graduates will be equipped. During the event, many avenues will be open for exchanging information. All participants will be free to ask questions, reply to them, and will have the opportunity to engage in a lively give and take. This exchange can take place at one of the contact fair booths as well as within the framework of the 90-minute long interactive workshops, where companies and organizations are invited to provide a concrete, realistic picture of their everyday work situation and discuss selected issues interactively.
