AIESEC will provide you with a
dynamic environment in which you will be able to apply your leadership abilities

and the world around you.
In AIESEC Chapel Hill you can lead a team or be a member of different functional
areas:
Communications
Communications Team is responsible for all external messages that facilitate AIESEC's
operations from internship program marketing, to creating product portfolios for fortune 500
companies, to working with the local press in improving our external presence, to increasing brand
awareness, and everything in between. Members in Communications develop skills such as
effective communication, design, writing, marketing, creating the right message for the right
stakeholder. This team is ideal for those interested in writing, design, movie-making,
marketing, webpage development html, Web 2.0 tendencies, public relations, etc.
Business Development
Business Development Team works with external organizations from large NGOs in Raleigh,
Durham, and Chapel Hill to large fortune 500 companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte,
Cadbury, DHL, UBS, Microsoft, etc. in marketing and selling AIESEC's Internship Program for other
international AIESEC members to come to the US to do a traineeship with the company. They are
also responsible for sourcing the international candidates for the internships raised.
Business Development members primarily sell AIESEC opportunities through networking nights,
telephone calling, company meetings, etc. Members in Business Development develop skills such
as sales, effective communication, project management, all working with some of the best in the
business. This team is ideal for those interested in sales, working with business executives,
business administration, marketing, etc.
Talent Management
Talent Management Team is responsible for all Human Resources of AIESEC Chapel Hill.
The team is responsible for talent planning, selection, induction, allocation, reward and
recognition, performance assessments, education and training, and leadership pipeline
management. AIESEC has the mission of developing our members professionally and personally
and Talent Management ensures that we are reaching that mission. They also increase
organizational efficiency and results through their work. Members in Talent Management
develop skills such as developing global competencies through assigned roles, how to manage a large
number of employees of an organization, how to increase organizational efficiency, how to increase
results through employee motivation, etc. This team is ideal for those interested in
psychology, organizational psychology, personal development.
Finance
Finance Team is responsible for all of the finances of the organization. Considering
AIESEC Chapel Hill has large expenses and a large amount of operational revenue from our
sponsorships and global internship program, the finance team ensures money is allocated
appropriately, that all money is accounted for, and that we spend wisely. They are
responsible for accounting, budgeting, and continually tracking cash flows. Members in
Finance develop skills such as accounting, budgeting, cash flow tracking all with a budget in the
thousands of dollars. This team is ideal for those interested in accounting, finances,
business, economics, etc.
Outgoing Exchange
Outgoing Exchange Team is responsible for running AIESEC's Global Internship Program at
UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke University, and North Carolina State University. The members are
responsible for the promotion of the global internship opportunities and the selection of
internship program applicants. The team also creates exchange programs with specific
countries to capitalize on country to country cooperations which involves working directly with
AIESECers from all of the 107 countries in AIESEC's network. The members are also responsible
for matching AIESEC Chapel Hill's Exchange Participants with opportunities in other countries,
working out program logistics along with providing personal and professional preparation.
Members in Outgoing Exchange develop skills such as effective communication, marketing, public
speaking, cross-cultural communication, etc. This team is ideal for those interested in
international relations, culture studies, working
