In 1992, José de Andrade Soares passed away, leaving behind the symbol of a true AIESECer with enthusiastic and charismatic personality used drive and contagious enthusiasm to conquer and overcome all obstacles. The Principals and Values of AIESEC are not just there to condition student days, but rather to guide for entire livetimes.

He focused on the development of Portugal and later to underpriviledged African Nations as a respected member of the Portuguese financial community.
