CONTRIBUTION
For many years Mr. Sosa has been a trainer in the field of leadership where he is particularly outstanding, in the last 2 years he provided critical and constructive advise and evaluation to AIESEC, and he has helped the organization to develop itself.

On alumni activities Mr. Sosa has lead the OCs for alumni anniversary dinners, providing also with wonderful sites to the celebrations. He has also been an earlier IAA member and AAI ambassador to Venezuela.

Mr. Sosa really cares about AIESEC and the way it is managed. He always find the time to meet the MC and help them in every possible way. His attitude demonstrate a great leadership and his an inspiration for our members and certainly a role model.

Mr. Sosa contribution to community activities and non-profit organization is really outstanding too, his personal effort in the 1999 Venezuelan flood tragedy has been recognized by United Way International which has appointed him as a member of its board.

ORGANISATIONAL CONTRIBUTION
Breakthrough in the design and implementation of British Petroleum social investment plan in Venezuela, in alliance with NGOs to improve the living conditions of the indigenous and creole communities around the BP operation in the Orinoco delta.

Had implemented changes particularly in NGOs (DVC and Audubon Society) to ensure fund raising programs that are contributing to the sustainability of those organizations.

Set up of a consulting firm dedicated to the issue management, lobbing and image positioning.

During the last 10 years Ramon Sosa has been Director of Corporate Affairs, dealing directly with the corporate social responsibility areas of the following corporations:

- IBM Venezuela 1990-1994

- BP Venezuela 1995-1999

- SINCOR (current)

Along his assignments he has provided image and reputation to those corporations throughout the implementation of social investments programs, contribution programs, voluntarism and active involvement in supporting solutions for main public issues in Venezuela.

SOCIETY CONTRIBUTION
10 years actively promoting the principles of social responsibility among corporations in Venezuela.

Leading fund raising campaign in the national and international private sector to support the victims and reconstruction of the 1999 Venezuelan floods.

Director of United Way International - US based organization for the promotion of voluntarism world wide and support to local affiliates for fund raising and projects implementation.

Director of Dividendo Voluntario para la Comunidad (DVC) - Private sector NGO to address private corporations contributions to the community projects

Director of FUDENA - (WWF) - Leading organization in Venezuela to protect and educate the communities on environment and wildlife

Director of EDUCREDITO - Leading organization dedicated to provide loans to students to finish their university education.

Director of Audubon society - Organization dedicated to the environmental protection and bird watching.

Special 5 years teamwork implementing and monitoring an educational model in 50 pilot elementary schools as a reference for the new Venezuela's educational system. Presentation of results and edited book with the learning experience presented last May 2001.
