Business Achievements:

Mr. Bassa opened an Information Technology training & consulting company called SELA in 1990. Currently the SELA Group has 8 companies with 400 employees and annual income of about $15,000,000.

SELA Group has a 12-year track record of success in software development, digital hardware design, information security, management of computing systems, IT training, and IT personnel positioning in Israel and abroad.

SELA Group employed AIESEC trainees from Austria, Australia, USA, Hungary and other countries. Their work resulted in the export volume of $150,000 of the group.

Mr. Bassa founded business in UK and the United States, implemented software projects and an E-learning service all over the world.

Mr. Bassa, with additional business people made a US$1,000,000 contribution to research the new treatment for Multiple Myeloma cancer (2001) through a biotech start up company, which was established for further development and usage of the Eprex drug.

For the past three years through the Sela group, Mr. Bassa has provided scholarships for young people to support their education and sponsored organisations that work with youth. As a recognition if his contribution, Mr. Bassa was awarded by the president of Israel in 2001.

Mr. Bassa through the Sela group also continuously supports hospitals by providing equipment to doctors and providing financial aid to impoverished patients.
