ACHIEVEMENTS
Founding member of five Local Committees in Colombia. Mr. Obregón was also member of the
re-founding group for AIESEC EAFIT Local Committee and AIESEC Colombia National Committee in 1971
after a period of decline for AIESEC in the country.
In 1971-1972 Mr. Obregón worked
for Gillette as assistant of the Latin American controller in Boston, being his first AIESEC
internship.
During his term AIESEC Colombia
realized around 50 traineeships in 1973.
When Mr. Obregón was elected AC
in 1973 he worked for three different companies in Europe - Hoggem, United Fruit Company and
National Bank of Paris for a period of 3 months each

As former president of Sofasa
S.A. and as current president of Bavaria S.A. Mr. Obregón has helped to provide important financial
support to AIESEC and AAI activities in Colombia.
Current member of the AIESEC
Colombia Board Of Advisors; Mr. Obregón is a current member of AIESEC Colombia Alumni
Association.
Mr. Obregón has an impressive
professional career and held several times top position within major Colombian companies:
o CEO at Redes De Colombia S.A., Bogotá, 1987 -1992
o Administrative Finances Manager (1982/1984) and CEO (1985) at Compañía Colombiana De
Envases S.A (Colenvases), Bogotá
o Economical Studies Division Director (1985) and Planning Vice President Bavaria S.A,
Bogotá, 1987
o CEO of Sofasa S.A., Bogotá, February 1994
Since July 2001 Mr. Obregón has
been President Bavaria S.A., which is part of one of the biggest Economic Groups in the country and
is considered the most admired and the best managed company in Colombia.
