The AIESEC Internship program helps to bring outstanding young entrepreneurs, filled with new ideas and rich new ways of seeing the world, into the Company to drive Alcatel-Lucent's market and product leadership globally.  

The internship program is an essential part of Alcatel-Lucent/AIESEC Global Exchange Partnership. More than 150 interns have joined the company so far to enhance their practical experience; working for a professional organisation in a multicultural environment. Alcatel-Lucent’s approach provides program participants with the skills and capabilities necessary to have an immediate impact on the job and their future.

Started as an HR initiative in 2004, the interest in the program spread out to different departments, providing a temporary placement for the program participants in Marketing, Sales, Finance, Business Development & Strategy, Communications, Research & Development and Technology.

Over the past years the partnership of Alcatel-Lucent and AIESEC has proven to be the most fast-track partnership within AIESEC's cohort of Global Exchange Partners. The partnership has been growing rapidly in both scope and scale and has already opened over 20 opportunities in Q1 of 2009. Alcatel-Lucent also regularly participates in AIESEC’s global, regional and national conferences to support the development of youth leadership in AIESEC.
