New for 2009, the Competition will support AIESEC members and alumni to write a business plan for a new Social-Business Venture. Artemisia will provide resources and coaching to ensure a unique and high quality learning experience for the participants. The winning teams will receive seed funding to turn their venture idea into reality, and will be invited to participate in the Social-Business Summit, to be hosted by Artemisia in December 2009 in São Paulo, Brazil. Social-Business Internships Artemisia and AIESEC both believe in the importance of learning by doing. Therefore we work together to offer internship experiences for AIESEC members, giving them the opportunity to work closely with successful entrepreneurs. During the 6-month placements, the interns experience first-hand the opportunities and challenges facing Social-Business Entrepreneurs, sharing their insights and ideas with other interns and with Artemisia's network. The Program also offers interns the opportunity to meet eachother in a Social-Business conference, allowing both the interns and Artemisia to maximize the possibility for learning from this unique program. Entrepreneurship Learning Network As a Learning Network Partner Artemisia shares resources and information through AIESEC's global online platform MyAIESEC.net, as well as participating in the 'Learning Networks Day' at AIESEC's annual International Congress. |
