Transforming risks into opportunities

In March 2009, PwC held a workshop at the AIESEC European regional conference in Mangalia, Romania. The workshop aimed to provide risk assessment methodologies and tools for workshop participants, and guided them through how to identify and migitate risks as national and local committee board members. Activating Diversity at IPM 2009

PwC participated on the Diversity Day of IPM 2009/ Global Leaders Summit in Rome on the 17th of February, 2009. Corrado Testori, Assurance Partner took part in the panel discussion "A Migration Driven Market", while Agnieszka Podkowinska, Global Mobility Leader of PwC in Italy lead a workshop on the topic of Global Mobility.

Exploring the topic of sustainability at Gulf Conference

PwC is proud to support the Gulf Talent Conference which took place in Doha, Qatar from the 20th to 22nd of November, 2008. In the session titled "Why Sustainability?", Stephen Anderson, Lead Advisory Partner of PwC Qatar shared some perspectives from which one can look at the topic of sustainability and guided the conference delegates through a more in-depth discussion on the different trends relating to sustainability. Following that Niam Sinno, HR Senior manager, People and Change lead a goal setting session on How to be a Sustainable Person. Ahmed El Badawi Refaie, Partner Statutory Related Services of PricewaterhouseCooper and Ghada Afani, Consultant Advisory Services also participated in the conference.
