I have waited this traineeship for so long!

For so many time I have waited to live this traineeship experience! And the search for a suitable traineeship offer hasn`t been short at all… not to mention at ease. But every single wonderful thing I get to live know confirms me it was well worth wainting. And all this because it is impossible for me to imagine a more interesting personal or professional experience than the ones I actually live here.

I met incredible people

Without having met these wonderful people, like Marthe, Andreas, Roy, Balint, Alex, Paddy, Adam, my traineeship wouldn`t have certainly been the same. I had something useful to learn from each and every one of them. It is wrong to judge a person by its culture, I now come to find the word “gay” as natural, after I used to consider it a prejudice. I have learned from Marthe, my roommate, how to socialize with unknown people, how to start “small talks”. Moreover, Marthe and Andreas (my 19 year-old colleague) made me reorganize my vision, my future prospects… and the list happily goes on… I feel lucky to have gained such personal experience!

I love my job

I enjoy this professional experience as well as I enjoy the entire traineeship. The company I work for is Underwriters Laboratories – a leader on the market of testing and certificating products. I work in the Marketing Department for the Europe Headquarter of the company. My collaborator ( I see her as being too professional to call her “my boss”) is the Marketing Manager for Europe and North America. She is an excellent manager! I don`t do extraordinary things here, but she always helps me see the context, the purpose of my activity. So, in three months, I would have understood the entire market strategy of a world leader. And I am extremely delighted!

I love the city

Frankurt is a great city… as cosmopolit as an European city can be, hard to believe, I know, especially when it comes to a city in Germany. There are so many people from all over the planet, belonging to such different cultures. In my first two weeks there, at least, I have been overwhelmed of what i`ve seen in the streets.

I am a little nervous

To be honest, the experience I am living right now, being all about new people, new places, new feelings, new questions in my life that require new answers, new fears, makes me feel a little nervous to come back in Iasi. But I`m sure time will bring an answer and a solution to my emotions and fears.
