IE Business School

IE and AIESEC entered into cooperation in April. 2008. 
The partnership established the IE - AIESEC Scholarship Program which is offered by IE and its respective foundation and comprises of two scholarships for members of AIESEC. The first scholarship recipients - Shannon Bengston and Tamer Zikry already started their masters programs with IE in Madrid. Due to the high quality of the applications received IE offered additional support to another two candidates for their master studies with IE.
 
IE has also been interacting with the AIESEC membership globally through various tools on the AIESEC internal information system. The business school organized virtual classes for AIESEC members wishing to know more about the opportunities of post graduate education. AIESEC members have been receiving special invitations to attend IE events locally.
 
The world renowned university has been interacting with AEISEC youth directly through delivering issue-based workshops and sessions at key regional and global conferences. IE representatives facilitated workshops around social innovation during the AIESEC European Regional Conference 2008 in Saint Petersburg, Russia and at the Iberoamercia Leadership Congress 2008 in Barcelona, Spain.
IE faculty has been involved in the agenda development and facilitation of the AIESEC's Global 60th Anniversary Event during the International Congress 2008 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The event was attended by nearly 1000 people – AISEC alumni, current members and partner organizations to mark 60 years of activating youth leadership. A team of IE took part in the whole process of development – through active involvement in the concept development, facilitation, delivering key note speech and workshops.
 
Both organizations are looking forward to their second year of partnership to explore even more opportunities of working together and shaping today the leaders of tomorrow.
