Welcome to AIESEC!

AIESEC is an organization, where students and recent graduates can discover and develop their potential with the end aim of having positive impact on society. It is the largest student organization in the world, as being present in 107 countries with 38,000 members and 800,000 alumni . Every year AIESEC creates 5,500 work abroad placements , 7,700 leadership positions and 470 conferences . We are empowered by more than 4,000 companies and organizations all over the world.

You can be part in that network, either by joining our membership and using AIESEC for your personal international development, or partnering with us and creating value for your organization and for the society.

AIESEC in Finland is present in 16 universities in 6 cities , having more than 300 members , who are interested in developing their team work, leadership and management skills. We send Finnish students to other member countries through our Work Abroad programme and cooperate with organisations in Finland that are interested in connecting with young talented people from Finland and abroad. Additionally, we create socially relevant projects, seminars and trainings. As being one of the founding countries in 1948, AIESEC in Finland has history of more than 60 years!

March 2010

February's Leadership Seminars were a success!

In Helsinki the event gathered approximately 40, and in Jyväskylä around 60 students to listen and discuss the different views on leadership.
The seminar in Helsinki hosted the following speakers:

- Key Note Speaker: Heidi Luumi, Talent Management Oy
- Johanna Lipponen, Veikkaus Oy
- Oskari Juurikkala, Providentia Oy
- Janne Lemettinen, EBBF
- Kai Lemmetty, GigsWiz

and the seminar in Jyväskylä hosted the following speakers:

- Timo Kovala, Federation of Finnish Enterprises Finland

Congratulations, AIESEC Oulu!

Held earlier this year,  AIESEC Oulu's Doing Business Abroad -seminar attracted altogether 150 participants from the academic and corporate world to listen about business opportunites in various countries. Eleven speaker from eleven countries shared their thoughts about doing business in their respective countries.

In addition to this successful event, AIESEC Oulu was rewarded by the Martti Ahtisaari Institute of Global Business and Economics for promoting internationalism  among students. The stipend was granted in the seminar 2010-luvun globaalit ongelmat ja haasteet on the 8th of February.

Welcome to National Leadership Weeks 2010! An event to be held for the first time by AIESEC in cooperation with EBBF in Finland!

National Leaderhips Weeks, an event to be held for the first time by AIESEC in cooperation with EBBF in Finland, will be here soon! During two weeks from 22th February to 7th March, 2 Leadership Seminars and 1 Leadership Camp will be organised for the future leaders of the world in the cities of Helsinki, Jyväskylä, and Tampere. With inspiring speakers, engaging discussion as well as motivating case-studies, National Leadership Weeks will provide you with the necessary leadership qualities for your future career and personal life.


The Leadership seminars in Jyväskylä and Helsinki are both available to all students in Finland.
The Leadership Camp in Tampere is open to all AIESECers in Finland.
