HomeAIESEC provides young people with two concepts that differentiate the AIESEC experience from that of other organizations.
1 - Learning Environment
What makes a learning organization different from other organizations is how
unique and different its learning environment is. AIESEC's learning environment consists of:
a) Individual discovery - The formal steps that an individual takes through the AIESEC Experience. It has been carefully designed as a self-driven structured learning experience. b) Mentoring - Mentoring relationships provide an important source of external feedback, challenge and reflection which is very important in an individual’s development c) Learning Circles - AIESEC Learning Circles are local learning communities. They are formed by local and international AIESECers who share a common interest in gaining experience, knowledge and networks in a common sector or topic.
d) Conference and Seminars - AIESEC holds over 470 national &
international conferences every year. These conferences provide opportunities to network, develop
key competencies and challenge one's worldview.
e) Team Experiences - Teams are the basis of our current organizational structure. Essentially, from the first to the last step of an individuals experience in AIESEC is taken within a team. Teams also bring to light the critical aspect of ‘learning by doing’ f) Virtual Spaces - Our virtual spaces play the key role of tying together the entire learning environment and the entire AIESEC network. 2 - Self Discovery AIESEC engages young people right in the moment when they are debating with the questions that determine the ambition and direction of their future. AIESEC’s role is to provide support and experiences that shake up their thinking and unlocks their true potential.
