AIESEC in Italy is hosting 51st Global Leaders’ Summit, the most important AIESEC Global Congress, where over 300 young leaders, from over 100 countries worldwide will meet.
The Congress will take place in Rome, in February 2009 and is organized in Italy for the first time in 61 years of AIESEC history.
GLS 2009 brings AIESEC Country Leaders together and starts with the core: facilitating contact between young talented individuals who work together to fulfil the ambition of AIESEC as an organization.
The Congress will last for 10 days, between 17-26th of February 2009, and will include several events, at which over 4000 Roman students are expected to participate.

Global Leaders’ Summit 2009: talents from over the world in Rome
Global Leaders’ Summit 2009 is an important meeting point for AIESEC and the companies and organizations that are recognized as leaders and promoters on the topics of Diversity and Sustainability.

WHAT: a 12-days long Global Summit that will gather most talented international youth and the best companies and organizations, with the purpose of discussing diversity-related issues and developing their potential;

HOW: events open to the general public, panel discussions and workshops inside university, business networking;

WHERE AND WHEN: Rome, 17-26th February 2009;

TARGET: 250 top international talents from over 100 countries worldwide, more than 100 top Italian students, 5000 participants at the public events, more than 50 speeches from the national and international corporate community (DHL, Deloitte, ALCATEL-LUCENT, World Bank, European Commission,…), 200 alumni – now established and successful managers in Italy and abroad;

OBJECTIVES: offer leadership opportunities, facilitate and play a part in intercultural dialogue, sharing ideas and inputs on the theme of “Diversity as an Advantage for Excellence”, and above all emphasizing Italy’s great worth;

20th February 2009 (Friday): Elections AIESEC International President,
20th-22nd February 2009 (Friday – Sunday): Alumni Conference,

24th February 2009 (Tuesday): Official Dinner.

ANNIVERSARIES: In 2009, we celebrate the 61st anniversary of AIESEC and 55th anniversary of AIESEC in Italy.

Il comitato di  AIESEC Venezia è presente a Cà Foscari dal 1963, con sede presso la Facoltà di Economia a San GIobbe. Il nostro comitato, formato e gestito interamente da studenti è sempre in continua evoluzione ed in attività su vari progetti e tematiche. I diversi progetti sono sviluppati in collaborazione con aziende partner, enti istituzionali e sono indirizzati a tutti gli studenti universitari del territorio.
