Welcome to AIESEC Mauritius!

AIESEC, the world’s largest student organization, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their leadership potential so as to have a positive impact on society. Towards this aim it provides over 7700 leadership opportunities inside the organization, deliver over 470 conferences, and runs international work exchange program for over 5500 participants annually.

Together with a focus on building personal networks and exploring the direction and ambition of their future, AIESEC has an innovative approach to engaging and developing young people. 
Our partner organizations, literally thousands from all sectors, look at AIESEC as a way to support the development of young people and to have access to high-potential young talent from around the world. 
Our alumni are leaders within these organizations and their communities - using the experience, skills, and increased vision that AIESEC gave them to be agents of positive change.

Run and developed by youth for youth for 60 years so far now it consist of over 35000 students and recent graduates in over 1700 universities in over 110 countries and territories.

  
AIESEC in Mauritius has started its first activity in summer 2007, recruited first Mauritian students in April 2008 and had an official launch event in August 2008. Now it consists of about 50 students and operates in two universities: 
- University of Mauritius 
- University of Technology of Mauritius.

It has been 15 leadership opportunities, 24 exchange program participants and 3 projects accomplished for the first year of AIESEC presence in Mauritius.
