Introduction
Achievers’ is a national leadership development seminar that aims at empowering leaders of AIESEC Tanzania with rightful leadership skills. The conference also reaches out to the members who are preparing to go for exchange and current interns. The conference comes at a time when most of the AIESEC leaders are focusing on achieving the 2010 vision as well as their personal goals, so it aims at stimulating these leaders to work smart so as to achieve these goals. Conferesnce Specific Objective • Leadership Capacity building for leaders • Alumni to share their leadership experiences to the members • Increase members’ knowledge and awareness around global issues • Provide a space for the corporate sector to build the future leaders of by participating in the leadership academy and learning networks • To culturally prepare those members of AIESEC Tanzania who want to go on exchange and for the current interns. Tracks The conference is going to be run in three (3) tracks namely Elementary Leadership Track, Advanced Leadership Track and Exchange Track. Elementary Leadership Track: Is the track for members who are on Taking Responsibility Stage of the AIESEC Experience that is, members who are contributing to the achievement of teams’ objectives and working effectively with others in a team setting. These are also individuals who make productive contributions through their talent, knowledge and skills. Advanced Leadership Track: Is the track for members who are on leadership positions such as executive boards (EBs) and Team Leaders. Leaders who are organizing people and resources toward the effective and efficient pursuit of predetermined plans and objectives. Exchange Track: This is a track for members who are planning to go for exchange within the next 3 months. It is also a track for the current interns in the country. Parallel to these tracks we shall be having: Leadership Academy: These are intensive leadership sessions provided by Standard Chartered Bank, Deloitte and KPMG Learning Networks: Learning Networks provide delegates with an opportunity to be exposed to global issues and trends. They are conducted by companies that are working with such issues. This year our delegates will be exposed to these issues: Climate Change and its effects in Africa, Economic crisis and its effects in Africa, Pro-Poor tourism and Entrepreneurship To register click on the tab below; |
